Who to talk with
Your
state MND association team can answer questions, and help you seek support and information based on your loved one’s needs. Some states host information sessions for people recently diagnosed with MND, and their family and friends. Check our
calendar and state MND association event pages to find out what's on.
You can also contact
MND Australia, or call our
national freecall number 1800 777 175 to talk to someone from your state association team.
Ongoing support
As your loved one’s needs change, you may be interested in seeking information on how you can help to maintain their quality of life. Our section on
Living better outlines some of the most common MND symptoms and provides tips to empower both the person with MND and carer. This information can also be
downloaded.
If you would like to meet other people who are touched by MND, take a look at the events pages on
state MND association websites. You’ll find MND association activities that support carers, raise awareness, raise dollars and pay tribute to those who are living with MND.
